Fenta Ceiling Tiles: UV-coated, impervious ceiling tiles

A practical ceiling finish for hygiene-critical spaces, Fenta Ceiling Tiles combine a fibre-cement core with an ultra-hard UV-cured coating to create a smooth, impervious surface that cleans easily and stands up to routine use.

What the surface does

The UV topcoat contains a bio-silver additive tested to ISO 22196, showing up to 99.99% inhibition of bacterial growth on the surface under laboratory conditions. As silver lasts the life of the product, routine surface cleaning will maintain its antibacterial performance. The coating is impervious and moisture resistant to help deter mould and mildew. The tiles are available in high gloss for maximum light reflectance or satin where lower glare is preferred, in white or black.

Why it’s robust

The UV coating has high scratch and wear resistance and strong chemical resistance. It tolerates common domestic cleaners and many harsher plant chemicals, helping the finish stay intact so build-up is easier to remove. In low-daylight rooms, the high-gloss option can improve light distribution and reduce the need for additional fittings.

Simple to specify and maintain

Fenta Ceiling Tiles are a lay-in solution for standard 1200 x 600mm suspended ceiling grids, making refurbishments and staged upgrades straightforward. Day-to-day care is a wipe down with non-abrasive household cleaners. For stubborn marks or soap build-up, use Polycell Sugar Soap on a damp cloth.
